R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

There’s not just one, but two 20th Century Legends we love above and beyond here at MWoI. The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and The Queen of Soul, Miss Aretha Franklin. Both are Memphis kids, both died on the 16th of August (which is annoyingly my birthday). Both of them GOATs. Aretha’s voice, her effortless musical genius, range and soul allow her to sit untouched as the greatest singer of all time. All bow down to the queen.
