The Interiors of the Narain Niwas Palace Hotel’s Palladio Bar

Skærmbillede 2017-07-26 14.51.45Obviously, we are devoted to, not to say deeply in love with-, and passionate about-,  the aesthetic, that has carried The World of Interiors Magazine through to today. It is the thing, which has fine-tuned our tastes, and helped us design our own homes through the years. To us, there is nothing better than delving into the rich archive that is vintage copies of our favourite Condé Nast title. So as of now, we will occasionally feature a look-back at a favourite story of ours from the magazine’s incredible back-catalogue.
-Today, we are travelling to Jaipur to visit the Palladio Bar at the Narain Niwas Palace Hotel. We hope you enjoy the journey.

Blurb: “Conceived by two European expats in India, Jaipur wining and dining spot Bar Palladio has an international air. Set in the grounds of an Edwardian Rajpur palace, it strikes a clever equilibrium between East and West, as Indian textiles, irrevererently updated in flashing neons, find parity with Empire furinitre, while Gothic doors and chequered floor make graceful counterpoints to its Mogul-style motifs.” -Henry Wilson for WoI
